Common questions
Response Times and Booking
Nobody wants to sit around wondering when help arrives. Here's what to expect.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays run on the exact same roster as a Wednesday morning, and someone answers the phone no matter what's on the calendar.
How fast can you get here?
On-site in 30 minutes, guaranteed. That promise holds for Frenchs Forest homes on the ridge and in the streets down toward Forestville just the same.
Are you really open 24/7?
Yes, every day of the year, including 2am. A licensed plumber answers the phone, not a machine.
How do I book online?
Use the booking form on this site or call (02) 9072 0710 directly, whichever suits you better. Book online and the $50 off applies automatically, no extra step or code required.
Common questions
Pricing, Straight Up
No hourly rate, no surprise line items. You see the quote before we touch a spanner.
How do quotes work?
One of our plumbers inspects the job, explains what needs doing, and writes down a fixed price on the spot. You approve it before any tools come out.
Is the quote really free?
Yes, free and no-obligation, every time. You're not charged just for us turning up to have a look.
Do prices change once you start?
No, the price we quote is the price you pay. That holds even if the job turns out messier once we're underneath it.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, $0 call-out fee, every visit. Whether it's a two-minute plunge or a full sewer clear, showing up costs you nothing.
Common questions
Local to Frenchs Forest
A few questions specific to this side of the ridge.
How local are you, really?
Frenchs Forest is part of our regular run, not a suburb we drive past on the way to somewhere else. Our plumbers know Warringah Road and the streets either side of it well, along with the mix of older brick homes and newer builds near the town centre.
What suburbs do you service?
Frenchs Forest plus the neighbouring suburbs of Forestville, Belrose, Davidson, Beacon Hill and Allambie Heights. Give us a ring if you're just outside that list; there's a fair chance we still get out to you.
Do you know Frenchs Forest's pipe stock?
Yes. Much of the suburb went up through the post-war building boom, and a lot of that original earthenware sewer line is still in the ground doing its best. Storm-season stormwater surcharge after heavy downpours doesn't help older joints that were never built for this much rain.
Do you work on strata and apartment blocks?
Yes, alongside the standalone houses that make up most of Frenchs Forest. Strata jobs get the same upfront quote and CCTV proof as any other property.
Common questions
Whose Drain Is It, and Who Can Touch It
Licensing, ownership and what's actually allowed.
What warranty do I get?
Our lifetime labour warranty covers it. If it's not right, we come back at no cost and no argument about who's to blame.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
Grab a plunger for a straightforward sink or toilet clog, that's fine. Steer clear of shop-bought chemicals and hired electric eels on older earthenware pipe though; anything beyond that is licensed-plumber territory under NSW law.
Do wipes really block drains?
Constantly, and the flushable label on the packet doesn't change that. Toilet paper dissolves in water; wipes stay whole and snag on the next joint or root intrusion they meet. Even at the Aquatic Reserve Baseball Park end of the suburb, it's the same story after a busy weekend of matches and takeaway containers.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, Master Plumber accredited, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance on every job.
